Syria Switches Rulers

Syria Switches Rulers – IsraelOK.Com December 8, 2024

This morning the Turkish supported HTS rebels in Syria led by Abu Mohammad al-Jolani (= Golani apparently) completed their overthrow of the Assad Syrian regime which has ruled Syria 54 years.

They apparently hate Hezbollah and seized their opportunity when Israel weakened Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria. Bashar al-Assad’s whereabouts are unknown. His family are reportedly in Moscow.

The IDF deployed tanks and troops in the demilitarized zone on the Golan Heights. The IAF say it was busy destroying Assad’s chemical weapons to stop them falling into the “wrong” hands.

The Syrian Druze community reportedly took over the areas they live in, inside Syria. Druze leaders reportedly saw this as a victory of the good over the axis of evil. The Druze live in parts of Israel, the Golan Heights and Syria.

Israel, the West and Jordan look on. In Israel, this development had been openly predicted a few weeks.

What comes next in Syria and elsewhere remains to be seen. Will next US President Trump now in Paris head for the region – Israel, Egypt or even Cyprus? Will Israel find itself talking to Turkey about the 101 Israeli hostages in Gaza?
