  • Israel OK Report – Thursday November 21, 2024:
    • The war continues in Lebanon and Gaza.
    • Eli Feldstein and another un-named party connected with the Israeli Prime Ministers’ Office are accused of leaking a secret document to a German newspaper De Bild. The concern is the source of the information was exposed. Few details are available due to a gag order. PM Netanyahu apparently knew of the document.
    • The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for PM Netanyahu and ex-Defense Minister Gallant for alleged war crimes .
    • “The Chamber considered that there are reasonable grounds to believe that both individuals intentionally and knowingly deprived the civilian population in Gaza of objects indispensable to their survival, including food, water, and medicine and medical supplies, as well as fuel and electricity, from at least 8 October 2023 to 20 May 2024. This finding is based on the role of Mr Netanyahu and Mr Gallant in impeding humanitarian aid in violation of international humanitarian law and their failure to facilitate relief by all means at its disposal. The Chamber found that their conduct led to the disruption of the ability of humanitarian organisations to provide food and other essential goods to the population in need in Gaza. The aforementioned restrictions together with cutting off electricity and reducing fuel supply also had a severe impact on the availability of water in Gaza and the ability of hospitals to provide medical care.”

    • Many condemned the arrest warrants as signifying the beginning of another Dreyfus case.
    • Netanyahu and Gallant now cannot travel to 124 countries signed up to the ICC in case they are arrested there – but the USA is not signed up.
    • Ordinary Israelis who served in the IDF are worried they can also be arrested if they travel.
  • Sunday October 13, 2024: Four Golani Brigade soldiers were killed by a Hezbollah drone and several dozen more were injured at an IDF base near Binyamina. No sirens were triggered. The IDF said it will learn. Others said on Kaan radio that drones can hover and manoeuvre. making them harder to intercept. Others said the Finance Ministry had neglected to finance Israel’s laser interception project over several years. Also today, The US and UN heavily criticized the IDF for trying to move UNIFIL peace-keepers out of South Lebanon. The Israeli government issued a counter-demand to the UN to explain why every house and forest in South Lebanon on the Israeli border was booby-trapped with weapons and explosives.
  • Tuesday October 8, 2024: Hezbollah launched around 100 missiles at Haifa, probably because 5 missiles got through the Iron Dome defenses on October 6 and hit a Haifa restaurant. This time the Iron Dome worked. A fourth IDF division entered Lebanon.
  • Tuesday October 8, 2024 – Fake News Apparently: https://news.sky.com/story/im-so-scared-please-come-heartbreaking-final-moments-of-girl-5-killed-in-gaza-13229813. There may have been a tragic accident. It isn’t negligence because the IDF routinely publicizes advance warnings. Also there are strict rules of engagement which have been tightened up 65 times in the past year. When there is due process, there isn’t negligence, there may be accidents. The classic accident is “secondary explosions” where munitions are stored, there’s no way of knowing where they will extend to….
